What we checked on Tixr
Who pays the fees
The organizer decides how fees are presented to fans, and the fan help center confirms the organizer sets service and delivery fees, so passing them on or absorbing them is the organizer's call.
Organizers have full control over how fees are presented to fans, and payment processing runs through Stripe.
Card processing
Card processing runs through Stripe, and the organizer can either connect its own Stripe account for direct settlement or use Tixr's processing; neither the rate nor whether it sits inside the service fee is published.

Refund protection at checkout
offered, off by default: optional Order Protection is underwritten by third party Teak, the fan ticks a checkbox at checkout and pays a percentage of the ticket price, and Teak handles every claim and payout.
Order Protection is optional event insurance available at checkout. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending, this coverage may help…
When you get the money
An organizer can connect its own Stripe account so proceeds settle directly to it, or use Tixr's managed payouts instead; the site gives no payout schedule, hold period or payout fee.
You can either connect your own Stripe account for direct settlement and reporting or use our processing for managed payouts.

Ticket types and discounts
Studio handles tiered and behavioral pricing, price levels and components, presale access codes, promo codes and group-sale blocks, so tiers, early-bird moves and group tickets are all native.
Pre-sale access codes for loyalty members, partners, and sponsors. Promo codes for targeted discounts without touching your public pricing.
Reserved seating
Buyers pick seats on interactive, branded multi-level maps with best-available logic and view-from-seat visuals, and general admission sections can sit on the same map as reserved inventory.
Fans get an interactive seat map with view-from-seat visuals, best-available logic (when enabled), the ability to select specific seats
Questions at checkout
Forms let an organizer collect its own information from buyers inside the checkout flow; the page does not say whether questions can be asked per ticket as well as per order.
Get to know your fans better by collecting desired information in checkout.
Registration forms and waivers
Custom fields are captured through Studio's Forms tool in checkout, and Tixr says it supports custom configurations; nothing on its pages mentions a waiver attendees sign.

Timed entry
Timed entry tickets and capacity windows are configured in Studio, and the Door app enforces the assigned time slot at the scan, so capacity per time is handled end to end.

Waitlist
Waitlist captures second-chance demand on sold-out inventory with optional card pre-authorization, and new inventory can auto-fulfill from the queue without manual work.

Online events
Tixr integrates Vimeo for livestream and on-demand video, and its fan knowledge base documents watching a purchased Tixr livestream on mobile, desktop and TV.
Vimeo Host livestreams and on-demand video content with seamless Vimeo integration.
Add-ons
A single checkout sells merchandise, parking, food and beverage, hospitality and hotel packages alongside tickets, and add-ons can also be offered after the sale.
you can sell anything—tickets, VIP passes, merch, food & beverage, parking, hospitality, and more—in a single checkout flow (and post‑purchase via…
Recurring events
Season tickets link inventory across events with reservation and renewal workflows, so a series is sold as one package rather than event by event; no generic repeating-event scheduler is described.
Season Tickets Link inventory across events and lock in loyalists with reservations and renewals.
Refunds and transfers by buyers
Fans transfer verified tickets to others at no charge, resell on the organizer's official in-platform marketplace when enabled, upgrade themselves and return tickets for credit; cash refunds stay with the organizer's policy.
you can also add them to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or transfer them to someone else at no charge
Check-in app
Tixr Door is an iOS app that scans rotating QR, static QR, PDF and NFC tickets and queues scans locally offline, syncing when connectivity returns; the Android build needs a connection and no app price is published.

Door sales
Door works as a mobile POS taking cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cash where enabled, with Studio's Agent Checkout for a stationary box office; no door-sale fee is published.
You can accept credit or debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices, cash if enabled, among other payment methods.
Apple Wallet
Contactless NFC tickets and static QR tickets both work in Apple Wallet, and fans add each ticket individually from the Tixr app or mobile web; eligibility is set per event by the organizer.
Static QR codes in Apple and Google Wallet, along with printable PDF tickets, can also be scanned with the Tixr Door app
Google Wallet
Google Wallet is supported for contactless NFC and static QR tickets on the same footing as Apple Wallet, with wallet eligibility decided by the event organizer per delivery method.
Contactless (NFC) tickets offer the fastest, most secure entry and are compatible with Apple and Google Wallet.
Listed where buyers browse
Events appear on Tixr's own consumer app and site and are syndicated automatically to Spotify, Songkick, Bandsintown and JamBase; no higher fee or commission for those channels is published.
Tixr's syndication integrations automatically push event listings to discovery platforms — including Spotify, Songkick, Bandsintown, and JamBase
Email to buyers
Past-buyer data syncs in real time to email and SMS platforms such as Hive, Cymbal, Mailchimp and Laylo, but campaigns are sent in those partner tools, which carry their own subscription fees.
The third-party platforms themselves (Hive, Cymbal, Segment, AnyTrack, Prism, etc.) each have their own subscription fees.
Ad tracking
Full pixel support covers Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, X and Snapchat with funnel-level event tracking, and Meta's Conversions API is supported server-side natively.
