What we checked on Ticketmaster
The fee per ticket
A service fee is charged once per paid ticket and some events add a venue-set facility charge, but Ticketmaster publishes no percentage, fixed amount or cap for either, so an organizer cannot see the rate before talking to its account team.
Service fees are generally negotiated and shared between various parties involved in organizing the event and may include a profit to them. The…
Who pays the fees
Buyers pay the fees on top of the ticket price the organizer sets: the upfront price a fan sees is the ticket price plus all required fees, and the organizing parties share the service fee rather than absorbing it.
The upfront price includes all required fees in addition to the face value.
Card processing
Card processing is bundled inside Ticketmaster's share of the service fee rather than charged separately to the buyer, but no processing percentage or per-order amount is published anywhere on its help or business pages.
This fee also typically includes credit card processing costs.
All-in price at checkout
The first price a fan sees on the event page and seat map is the All In Price with every required fee included; only local taxes and an optional delivery charge can still be added at checkout.
The All In Price is the total ticket price including fees. Local taxes and delivery fees, if selected, may be added at checkout.
Sales tax on tickets
adds a tax line: applicable city, state and local taxes are calculated automatically from the event's location and added at checkout, and in some states the tax is folded into the upfront price; remittance is not described.
Taxes: Applicable city, state, and local taxes are automatically added based on where the event takes place. In some states, this tax is included in…

Timed entry
Ticketmaster names timed-entry activations among the event types its self-serve tools are built for, alongside pop-ups and festivals; it does not document how capacity per time slot is set.

Add-ons
Upsells put parking, merchandise, VIP upgrades and experiences inside the purchase flow, customizable by ticket type and extendable to resale tickets, and bundles package them with the ticket.

Recurring events
Saved templates carry floor plans, pricing and offer structures across tours, seasons and festivals, and multi-event tools group related events for bulk edits; a dated recurring-series scheduler is not described as such.
Manage multiple events faster with multi-event management tools that let you group related events and bulk edit key details at once.
Refunds and transfers by buyers
Buyers can pass tickets to a friend themselves for free when the organizer has enabled transfer, but self-serve refunds do not exist: all sales are final and refunds are limited to what the organizer authorizes.
With Ticket Transfer, you can transfer all or some of your tickets from one Ticketmaster Account to another. It's easy, safe and completely free.
Check-in app
Entry runs on SafeTix encrypted rotating barcodes with real-time ingress monitoring, but scanning uses Ticketmaster hardware and partner access-control providers rather than a published free scanner app, and offline operation is not described.
