The fee per ticket
A percentage plus a fixed amount per paid registrant, with a stated per-registrant ceiling that varies by plan.

Who pays the fees
The organizer chooses: pay the fees out of the ticket price, or switch on a setting that adds platform and card fees to the buyer's total at checkout.
In RegFox, we have a setting that automatically passes on all RegFox fees and credit card fees to your buyers.
Card processing
Webconnex Payments, RegFox's in-house processor, charges 2.9% plus 30 cents on top of the platform fee; other processors can be connected instead.

Free events

Donations and tips
A donation field can sit on any registration page, with suggested or open amounts and an optional ask for registrants to cover processing costs.

Refund protection at checkout

Disputed charges
The organizer bears disputed funds plus a $15 fee that is never returned, though Webconnex fights the dispute at no extra cost.

Refunds and transfers by buyers
Registrants can pass a registration to someone else from the Account Center when enabled, but they cannot cancel their own order.

Check-in app
The check-in app is free on every plan, scans confirmation QR codes and keeps working without internet once data is downloaded.
The RegFox check-in app doesn't need to be connected to wifi to scan registrations, but it does need to be connected to wifi to sync the data.
Door sales
Staff can register walk-ups through the check-in app and log cash or check payments on Premium, but the staffed card-selling box office app is TicketSpice only.
