The fee per ticket

There is no percentage of revenue and no per-ticket surcharge: the cost is a fixed annual license plus a plan-based percentage (1%, 0.5% or 0.25%) on card transactions processed through Auctria's integration.

No Performance Fees, ever!^^ We don't charge you a percentage of what your event raises; our license fee is a fixed price upfront cost.

Who pays the fees

The organizer chooses between three fee-handling modes: pay the card fees yourself out of the ticket price, show buyers an optional checkbox to cover them, or add the surcharge to every card payment automatically.

Yes, Guests can cover credit card fees. In settings you can make this optional or required.

Card processing

You connect your own Stripe or Authorize.net account, and Auctria adds its own integration fee on top of the processor's rate: with Stripe the totals come to $0.30 plus 3.9% on Explorer, 3.4% on Emerald and 3.15% on Diamond per transaction.

Explorer plan: $0.30 + 3.9% per transaction Emerald plan: $0.30 + 3.4% per transaction Diamond plan: $0.30 + 3.15% per transaction

By default the buyer pays exactly the amount owed with no fee added, so the first price is the full price; if you switch to Added mode the fee is built into the total the buyer sees before paying, and in Optional mode it is a checkbox.

Free events

Auctria charges nothing per ticket, so a free event costs you only your annual license; its own fee is a percentage taken when a card is charged, which means free tickets carry no Auctria fee at all.

Fees on refunds

Auctria returns its own integration percentage on every refund processed through the platform, but whether Stripe returns its share depends on when the Stripe account was opened, so newer accounts lose roughly 3.2% of the refunded amount.

Auctria's own license price is the same for everyone and nonprofit status is not required to use it; the only nonprofit discount it points to is Stripe's separate 501(c)(3) processing program.
