# Recurring event ticketing with door sales

TicketSpice charges 49 cents a ticket on card sales at the door and no fee on cash. TicketLeap's free Box Office app takes $1 a ticket, or $0.49 on tickets of $5 or less. Its 3% transaction fee still applies to cards, but not to cash or checks. Eventbrite's Organizer app charges $1 a paid US ticket plus 2.9% processing. Ticket Tailor keeps its normal per-ticket fee at the door.

Etix and Ticketmaster are sold by quote and publish no door-sale rate. On Ticketmaster, the service fee may apply to in-person box office purchases, depending on the venue.

The series tools work in different ways. Eventbrite bulk-generates dates and time slots inside one recurring event, up to 2,000 slots. TicketLeap's scheduler builds timed entry slots in bulk, and past events can be cloned. TicketSpice covers a run with one date range and blackout dates. Ticket Tailor's occurrences share one set of core details and ticket types, so weekly classes are configured once. On Etix, a past performance is copied rather than rebuilt. Ticketmaster carries saved templates across tours and seasons.

| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Etix](https://boxofficefees.com/etix.md) | Venue-focused primary ticketing with box office, scanning, patron data and marketing, sold by quote. | Sold by quote, Etix suits venues and attractions ticketing their own recurring events in-house. Etix Sell opens a box office on a tablet or desktop, and its parking app takes cash or card at the gate. Season packages sell a run in one purchase. A buyer gives up an automatic schedule generator, which Etix does not describe. | On quote | Yes |
| [Eventbrite](https://boxofficefees.com/eventbrite.md) | Ticketing platform with a buyer-discovery marketplace and optional fee transfer. | Free to start, Eventbrite has paid plans from $69 a month and a consumer marketplace where buyers can find events. Its Organizer app sells at the door by card or cash. The give-up is the 2.9% processing on door sales, which cannot be passed to the buyer. | Free, then $69 a month | Yes |
| [TicketLeap](https://boxofficefees.com/ticketleap.md) | Per-ticket event ticketing with no plans or contracts, $1 + 2% plus a 3% transaction fee. | TicketLeap describes its pricing as $1 plus 2%, with a 3% transaction fee on top and no monthly plan. It suits organizers of recurring local events, farms and haunts. A buyer gives up selling on their own website and an all-in price at checkout. | Free, then $1 per paid ticket | — |
| [Ticketmaster](https://boxofficefees.com/ticketmaster.md) | Enterprise ticketing for venues, teams and promoters, sold through its own marketplace. | Built for venues and teams selling at scale, Ticketmaster sells through its own marketplace and prices by quote. Its mobilized box office sells on the go and sends tickets by SMS or email. Signing up without a sales call is only partly possible, and no dated series scheduler is described. | On quote | Yes |
| [TicketSpice](https://boxofficefees.com/ticketspice.md) | Flat 99¢-per-ticket ticketing for events and attractions, with in-house payments and a box office app. | At $0.99 a ticket, TicketSpice suits fairs and festivals selling high ticket volumes online and at the gate. Payments run in-house, and an Event Series page handles a set of shows. A buyer gives up a waitlist, and the all-in price at checkout is only partial. | From $0.99 per ticket | Yes |
| [Ticket Tailor](https://boxofficefees.com/ticket-tailor.md) | Flat per-ticket fee ticketing paid into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. | From £0.60 (about $0.80) a ticket, Ticket Tailor pays sales into your own payment account. Every door sale carries the normal per-ticket fee. | Free, then £0.60 (about $0.80) per ticket | Yes |

## What it takes to be on this list

Every product here sells tickets at the door by card or cash, and sells a series or recurring event without setting up each date. The rest of the category does one of those at most. Before buying, check the door fee on the payment you expect most, since cash and card are charged differently on some of them. Check whether your series needs dated time slots or a season package. For the two sold by quote, ask for the door rate with the quote.
